Whether or not you care about the upcoming Royal Wedding, I bet you like a good laugh and adore a nice piece of china as much as I do.

Kate and William almost faced the indignity of being ‘WC’ on their official commemorative china. The designers luckily avoided a Royal Flush and spotted the potential for toilet humour. Announcing “Wee are not amused,” they flipped the letters, making Kate the first royal bride to have her initial above the groom’s on the official commemorative china.

The final design features a silver (platinum) C above and intertwined with a gold W on a duck-egg blue background.

Commissioned by the Royal Collection, the pieces are made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent. With the profits going to the Royal Collection Trust, the collection includes a tankard (£35), a plate (£40, and a pill box (£25).
